Scottsdale’s ArtWalk is a free, weekly event that takes place in the Old Town Scottsdale Art District. The ArtWalk began in 1975 and is the longest-running event of its kind in the nation. It’s a chance to stroll through a festive area at your own pace, visiting galleries, shops, restaurants, and more. The ArtWalk takes place every Thursday evening from 7–9 PM, except for Thanksgiving.

The ArtWalk takes place in the city’s historic district, which is known for its Southwestern-style buildings, many of which date back to the early 1900s. The area has dramatic statues, bubbling fountains, tree-covered courtyards, and live music.
